Seahawks Remember Former Running Back Alex Collins

Alex Collins, a former Seahawks running back, died in a motorcycle accident on Monday.

Collins was drafted by the Seahawks in 2016 and played for the team as recently as the 2021 season.

He was teammates with many of the current Seahawks players.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that Collins was a "beautiful kid" and a "wonderful competitor."

Carroll said that Collins had a "great spirit" and was "fun as heck."

Carroll said that Collins' death is a "heart-breaking loss" for his family and for the Seahawks organization.

Players and coaches who knew Collins are sharing memories of him and supporting each other during this difficult time.

Carroll said that Collins would often celebrate big moments by breaking out his Irish dance skills.
